Seller Terms

If you list packs on Red Roster, these terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service. They cover what you can sell, how payouts work, and what we expect of creators.

Becoming a seller

You open a seller account by claiming a unique public handle. There is no upfront approval - you can publish straight away. We may remove listings or suspend a seller account that breaches these terms, infringes others' rights, or is used unlawfully.

What you can list

Only your own original packs, and only content you have the full rights to sell and license. No infringing, unlawful, or prohibited material. You are responsible for everything you publish.

Your warranties & indemnity

For everything you publish, you promise that: it is your own work; you hold all the rights needed to sell it and to grant buyers the License; it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or likeness rights; and it is not unlawful or prohibited content. Because listings publish without upfront review, this promise matters: you, not the operator, stand behind what you upload.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator and your buyers against any third-party claim, loss or cost arising from content you published breaching these promises. If a claim, takedown or legal notice lands on a listing of yours, we may remove it and, where a buyer is affected, refund them and recover the amount from your earnings.

Merchant of record

The operator is the merchant of record for every sale: we run checkout, calculate and remit sales tax/VAT, and handle buyer receipts. You are the licensor of your content to the buyer under the standard License.

Fees & payouts

We retain a 20% platform fee; you receive 80% of each sale. Payouts are made through Stripe Connect once you complete Stripe onboarding. Prices settle in US dollars.

Selling before onboarding

You can list and sell before connecting Stripe. Your 80% share of any sale is held for you and paid out once you complete onboarding. You must complete onboarding within 90 days of a sale to claim its held earnings; unclaimed earnings after that window may be forfeited.

Exclusive editions

You may offer a listing as an exclusive one-of-one edition. It sells once and is then permanently withdrawn. Publishing a listing as exclusive is a binding commitment: you agree not to re-list it, sell it as an open (repeatable) edition, or publish a substantially similar version of that character on Red Roster. Your buyer receives the standard non-exclusive commercial license to use, edit and monetise the work; the exclusivity is your promise that no one else can obtain this character through Red Roster. You keep ownership of the character, but breaking this commitment may lead to removal of your listings and refunds to affected buyers.

Refunds & chargebacks

Buyers may be refunded under the Refund Policy. Where a sale is refunded or charged back, it is reversed and your corresponding share is deducted or not owed.

Your taxes

We handle sales tax and VAT as merchant of record. You are responsible for your own income tax on the earnings you receive.

Termination

You may stop selling at any time. We may suspend or end your seller account for breach of these terms; held earnings you are entitled to remain claimable subject to the onboarding window above.
