Non-exclusive commercial license
This is the binding full text of the license that covers every Red Roster pack. The plain-language version on the License page and the LICENSE.txt inside each pack are summaries of this text. Where they differ, this text applies.
1 · The agreement and who's who
This license is a binding agreement that covers each Red Roster pack you buy or download. It controls: the plain-language summaries on the site and inside the pack are for convenience, and where they differ from this text, this text applies.
"Operator" means the company that runs Red Roster, established in Portugal (EEA), which acts as merchant of record for every sale. "Creator" means the person who published the pack, who may be the operator or an independent seller. "You" means the person or company that buys or downloads the pack. "Pack" means the files delivered to you: images, prompts, model specs, notes and any other included assets.
2 · What these packs are
Red Roster packs are generated with AI. AI-generated output may not be protected by copyright in the United States, the European Union or elsewhere, and it may not be possible for anyone to hold or transfer exclusive rights in it.
Because of this, we do not assign you a copyright in the asset, and the creator does not promise to own one. What you receive is (a) the pack files as delivered to you, and (b) a contractual permission from the creator and the operator to use those files as set out below, together with their promise not to sue you for those uses. This is a permission to use, not a transfer of ownership, and it does not give you the power to stop other people from using the same or similar output.
3 · What you can do
Subject to this license, the creator and the operator grant you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to: use the asset in commercial and personal projects, including shorts, series, music videos, games and ads; generate unlimited shots, scenes and frames from the pack; edit, restyle, animate and extend the asset for your own productions; and earn money from the films, games and content you make with it.
You may let contractors and collaborators handle the pack, but only to work on your own productions and only under these same terms. Free packs carry the same commercial permission as paid packs.
4 · What you can't do
You may not: resell, share or redistribute the pack, or any file in it, in whole or in part; sublicense the pack to anyone except contractors working on your own productions; resell or offer the asset as a stock asset, template, dataset or pack to others; pass the files off as your own original asset pack; or make the raw files available to third parties, public repositories or AI training datasets.
These restrictions continue to apply for as long as you hold the pack.
5 · Prompts and reproducibility
Packs include the prompt and model spec by design, so you can regenerate and extend the asset in your own pipeline. That is a feature of the product, not a loophole.
You agree not to use that ability to repackage regenerated output as a competing stock pack, or to offer the asset's identity for resale as an asset pack to others. This is a contractual promise between you and us; it does not depend on anyone owning a copyright in the output.
6 · Exclusive editions
Some packs are sold as an exclusive one-of-one edition. The pack sells a single time and is then permanently withdrawn. For these, the creator makes a binding contractual promise not to re-list the pack, sell it as an open (repeatable) edition, or publish a substantially similar version on Red Roster. "Substantially similar" means the same asset identity: the same name, visual signature and defining traits.
This is a scarcity promise about Red Roster, not a legal monopoly on the imagery. It does not stop third parties who never bought the pack from independently creating similar work. If a creator breaks this promise, the operator may remove the affected listings and refund affected buyers; that refund is your remedy.
7 · No warranty
The pack is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator and the creator make no warranty that the asset is original, copyrightable or free of third-party rights, and no warranty of non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
AI output can coincidentally resemble existing works, real people or trademarks. You are responsible for reviewing and clearing your own use of the asset for your specific project, including any publicity, trademark or likeness issues. You accept these risks.
8 · No indemnity from us
The operator does not indemnify you against third-party claims arising from your use of the asset, and neither does the creator. If you need that kind of protection for a project, clear your intended use yourself or take your own advice before you rely on the pack.
9 · Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total combined liability of the operator and the creator to you for any claim connected with a pack is limited to the amount you paid for that pack. Neither the operator nor the creator is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss.
Nothing in this license limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
10 · The version you bought
Your permission attaches to the version of the pack you downloaded. If the creator republishes an updated version, that does not change what you already downloaded, and it does not automatically extend new permissions to you.
11 · Governing law
This license is governed by the laws of Portugal, where the operator is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. It works alongside the Red Roster Terms of Service and, for sellers, the Seller Terms.
